Safe Drinking Water Commission

The Safe Drinking Water Commission is made up of the nine commission members that represent both the public water supplies in Missouri and each individual citizen of the general public.  The public water supplies are represented by the number of customers they serve.  Four of the commissioners currently represent the public water supplies.  Five of the commissioners currently represent the citizens.  The Safe Drinking Water Commission advises the department on various drinking water issues.

If you have issues to present to the Safe Drinking Water Commission concerning the regulation of public water systems, you may attend one of the regularly scheduled commission meetings where a time for public comments is allowed.  You may also send correspondence to request an issue be considered for a Safe Drinking Water Commission agenda, contact the Public Drinking Water Branch to find out about upcoming meetings or send correspondence to the Safe Drinking Water Commission or its members in care of the Water Protection Program, Public Drinking Water Branch at either the post office or e-mail address at the bottom of this page.
