LAND RECLAMATION COMMISSION MEETS
JULY 23 AND 24 IN FESTUS

JEFFERSON CITY, MO, JULY 22, 2008 -- The Missouri Land Reclamation Commission will meet at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, July 23, at the Holiday Inn Express, Lincoln Conference Room, 1200 Gannon Drive, Festus. 

The commission will discuss and consider the hearing officer's recommended order on the Magruder Limestone Company permit issuance for the proposed quarry near the Lake of the Ozarks. The commission will also meet at 10 a.m. on Thursday, July 24, at the Holiday Inn Express, in the Lincoln Conference Room.  The commission will discuss mining permitting, reclamation activities and mining enforcement.
